Mouhamed Saïdou Ba wharf , ex wharf 8

With its 700m quay line, Senegal’s Bulk Terminal (TVS) serves for bulk traffic/non-food traffic (mainly minerals, fertilizers and cement). It is equipped with two 140-tonne Liebher cranes, 15 trucks for transport between the dock and the terminal storage areas, two conveyors/ship loaders, 5 forklifts, 7 loaders, 2 weighbridges, 2 dust collecting hoppers, 3 garbage stations, not to mention the small equipment (toads, shovels), and a 9ha storage area.

This fleet of equipment is already one of the biggest for a port in West Africa. It offers prospects to the operator, NECOTRANS, the company running operations at the terminal.
